   No one can determine exactly how much it will affect your scores. You must understand there is scientists behind the credit scoring module. I have seen decreases from 20 to 150 points from late payments. As far as collections, once you have paid the account they most likely will not report to the credit bureaus because it is an overhead expense to furnish data.
