The previous answers are correct. Don't be mislead by the television ads that promise they can "immediately fix your credit". They can't. The only quick fix is if there are mistakes on your credit report. Otherwise, it's a matter of not overextending yourself financially, paying your bills on time, and giving the process some time.

Check your credit report for free at http://www.annualcreditreport.com. If there are any mistakes on there, contact the creditors and get the info corrected.

If your report is correct then time, and consistently paying your bills on time and in full, will have the best effect on your credit score.

"Repair Credit" and "Fast" don’t really go together. Building a positive credit history takes time and you can’t speed that up.

Don’t spend more than you have, never, ever miss a payment or be late on a payment. Your score will take care of itself.
