		<description>Yes, it&#039;s too late to waive the late fee.  It would be a very bad idea to remind your credit card company at this late date that you made a late payment in December.  They may decide you&#039;re a higher credit risk and lower your limit or raise your interest.

While some credit card companies will waive a first time late fee if you beg very nicely, this is not true of all.  Frankly, I don&#039;t know why people expect to get the fee waived.
